My client, located in Ft. Lauderdale FL, producer of welding and cutting equipment for the

Welding, HVAC, Plumbing, Auto, A/C Maintenance and Jewelry Industries is seeking a

qualified Tool and Die Maker.

This experienced Tool & Die Maker will work in the Gauge Division and also perform

some Machinist duties.

Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and

maintenance. Make parts, assemble and adjust production machinery and retooling, Repair

and make worn machinist’s hand tools, dies, gauges, jigs, and fixtures and prototypes.

(Operate Milling Machine, Lathe, and Surface Grinder)

Some progressive die experience helpful

Must have knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and costs.

Responsible for conducting tests and inspection of products and processes to evaluate

quality or performance, working to close tolerances

Read prints and analyze specifications, set-up and operate machine tooling.

Basic Computer Skills – MS Word, Internet and E-mail, MRP software (will train)

It is very important for the qualified Tool & Die Maker to be able to work and solve

problems independently using critical thinking skills. This person must also have good

judgment and decision-making skills and be able to work collaboratively with other

employees.

Schedule is Mon – Fri 6 a.m. – 2:30

High School/GED Diploma and Apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience required.

Due to nature of job, able to read, write and speak English.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
